The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and support cross-departmental workflows. This is a hands-on senior leadership role offering strong responsibility, operational variety, and long-term career progression within a stable and expanding business.
This role is ideal for someone seeking long-term stability in the region and looking to become an integral part of local operations.
Reporting to the Operations team, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, leading Team Leaders, managing inventory and linen supply, and collaborating closely with Operations, Maintenance, Accounts, HR, and Payroll to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process stock orders accurately and efficiently
- Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
- Oversee linen ordering and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Supervise and support Warehouse Team Leaders in daily operations
- Liaise with Operations Managers, Maintenance Coordinator, and Accounts to ensure smooth operational flow
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
- Provide ongoing operational support across departments
- Act as step-up / leave relief for Operations Managers when required
- Support HR and Payroll administration, including contract timesheets
About You
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or a similar leadership role
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on inventory management and process efficiency
- Confident communicator with demonstrated leadership capability
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
- Comfortable assisting with HR and payroll-related administration
- Reliable, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Seeking long-term employment and stability within the region
Location & Relocation
This position is based in Swanwick / Coles Bay, Tasmania.
Applicants must be permanently based in the area or willing to relocate long-term. Staff accommodation may be available for the right candidate to support relocation.
