Job Description
Every day is different when working on the “Van Run”. The van run is a pre clean service that we provide to our properties, to enhance our cleaners productivity and maintain our high standards across our properties. You will be required to stock the van from the shed, drive to a list of properties and strip the linen hire from the property, replace the linen with fresh stock from the van, check gas bottles and bbq’s, and make sure the dishwasher is stacked and on prior to locking the property and moving on to the next house. You are also required to keep an eye on any maintenance that arises and communicate that back to the correct channels. You update the team periodically of your progress, and cleaners can request your service if they’re at the property before you. A busy and exciting job, you’re working in beautiful properties every day and the aim is to SUPPORT our team so we’re exceeding expectations of our guests and owners.

Qualifications & experience
- You must have a drivers licence (automatic is fine)
- We do require a police check with the nature of this role
- An understanding of short term accommodation / cleaning process is desired but not essential
- You must be physically fit and active, the role is physically demanding
Tasks & responsibilities
- Liaising with colleagues in a friendly, knowledgeable and approachable manner
- Driving sensibly and abiding by the law at all times when in the work vehicle
- Keeping the van clean (inside & out), the linen clean and stocked, and ensuring you have adequate supply of consumables
- Able to use a mobile phone to access lock box codes, cleaning roster and use WhatsApp (able to be taught)
- Prioritise the workload to ensure efficient and smooth workflow for the team
- Organise yourself for the day as well as support the team with their needs
