Job Description
Malahide Farm, located in the picturesque Fingal Valley of Tasmania, is seeking an experienced Stockman to contribute to our large-scale farming operations. The farm currently runs 55,000 merino sheep, joining 8,000 ewes and trading 5,000 angus cattle with a focus on sustainable farming practices and animal welfare.
- As a Stockman with 4-5 years’ experience, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our livestock operations.
- Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the care, handling, and welfare of our sheep and cattle, ensuring optimal health and productivity.
We are seeking applicants who value being part of a team, are self-driven, self-accountable and willing to get in and have a crack. This role requires the successful applicant to have their own team of working dogs.
A remuneration package will be negotiated based on the experience and skills of the applicant which includes on farm accommodation.
