Job Description
We are seeking a reliable individual or cleaning business to help keep a Bay of Fires shopping complex clean, tidy and well presented.
About the Role:
This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in keeping Tasmania’s East Coast looking its best.
The role requires daily attendance, seven days a week, for a few hours each day. Additional hours may be required during the busy summer period.
Your Responsibilities:
• Emptying bins daily and preparing bins for collection
• Removing rubbish and litter from the complex, car park and surrounding areas
• Keeping footpaths, entrances and common areas clean
• Sweeping or blowing leaves, dirt and debris
• Cleaning bin areas, outdoor furniture, signs and shared outdoor spaces
• Completing minor cleaning and maintenance tasks as required
• Carrying out occasional pressure washing
• Identifying and reporting damage, maintenance issues or safety hazards
About You:
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Takes pride in maintaining clean and tidy public spaces
• Physically capable of completing outdoor and manual work
• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
• Own transport required
• Current ABN required
• Current public liability insurance required
