May Shaw Health Centre Inc. adopts a community minded approach at its provision of health, aged and home care services. Our Aged and Community Care Program delivers a variety of packages and services to people living in the Swansea community and surrounding areas.

Role Summary

The Rostering/Administration Officer is responsible for meeting rostering requirements and other administration duties, customer service, and maintaining rostering processes and systems.

Essential Duties

  1. Provide administration support at May Shaw, Swansea.
  2. Provide reception/customer service in accordance with established procedures and processes on a day-to-day basis, including relief.
  3. Ensure Rostering processes/practices comply with relevant legislation and standards.
  4. Undertake a range of office procedures as required.
  5. On-call duties as required.

Selection Criteria

  1. Administration or relevant industry experience.
  2. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact and communicate with team members and consumers in a respectful manner.
  3. Computer literacy and accurate word processing and data entry skills.
  4. Intermediate skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  5. Proven administration skills and experience in office procedures.
  6. Well-developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to proactively identify and meet expectations in a timely manner.
  7. Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work unsupervised and also in part of a small multi-skilled team multi-disciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes and support relationships with families.
  8. Demonstrated ability to undertake research, assess findings, draw conclusions and report.
  9. Emulating Values – demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment to and an understanding of MSHC’s values and the criticality of those values to MSHC’s ongoing success.
