East Coast Auto Parts is looking for a full-time Retail Assistant / Car Parts Interpreter to join our team in St Helens.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in cars, and is comfortable using a computer. Experience in the automotive industry is helpful but not essential for the right person.
Key duties
- Assisting customers at the counter and over the phone
- Interpreting car parts and providing product advice
- Sales and processing transactions
- Stock control and inventory management
- General cleaning and maintaining the shop and work areas
Skills and requirements
- Genuine interest in cars and automotive parts
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- General knowledge of electronics is an advantage
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a small team
- Good communication and customer service skills
Hours
- Full-time, 38 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Some Saturday mornings (4 hours)
