About the Role

The Resource Manager is responsible for the ongoing upkeep, functionality, and readiness of facilities and resources. This role requires a proactive, hands-on individual who takes ownership of maintenance, anticipates operational needs, and ensures all resources are well managed and available.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, practical problem-solving skills, and an awareness of what needs to be done to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Maintenance

  • Carry out and coordinate routine spa maintenance, including monitoring water quality and equipment
  • Manage sauna operations, including sourcing, storing, and preparing wood supplies
  • Perform general maintenance and upkeep duties across facilities and grounds
  • Identify, report, and address maintenance issues promptly

Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop, maintain, and implement an annual maintenance schedule
  • Plan and complete regular maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns or service disruptions
  • Track completed tasks and ensure maintenance records are kept up to date

Resource & Asset Management

  • Monitor tools, equipment, and consumable supplies
  • Ensure resources are available, safe, and fit for purpose
  • Liaise with contractors or suppliers where required

Initiative & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain strong awareness of operational needs and take initiative to address issues before they arise
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, efficiency, and safety
  • Support day-to-day operations by assisting with general duties as required

About You

  • Experience in maintenance, facilities, or resource management (formal qualifications not essential)
  • Strong practical skills and confidence using tools and equipment
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and manage ongoing maintenance schedules
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong awareness of safety, compliance, and risk management
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as needed
