About the Role
The Teacher will implement and manage effective learning programs tailored to the needs of students, as well as assess and monitor individual student progress. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive learning culture and uphold the school’s commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Employment Details
- Appointment Period: 2 February 2026 – 21 December 2026
- Hours: 70 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment status).
- Registration as a teacher under the Teachers Registration Act 2000, holding one of the following:
- Full registration
- Provisional registration
- Limited Authority to Teach (noting this permits fixed-term employment only)
- Eligibility under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, with classification and salary progression based on qualifications, training, and satisfactory performance.
- Progression to Band 1 Level 13 requires:
- A minimum of 12 months at Band 1 Level 12, and
- Full teacher registration as certified by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania).
Desirable Qualifications
- Four years or more of teacher training, as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
