Location: East Coast, Tasmania (Bicheno region and surrounding properties)
Employment Type: Full-time
Roster: Five days per week within a seven-day operating environment (flexibility required, including weekends)
About the Role
Younique Stays is seeking a motivated and hands-on Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a critical role within the business, acting as the operational control room – thinking ahead, responding quickly, and ensuring each day runs smoothly.
You will ensure properties are guest-ready, teams are supported, and Younique Stays’ high standards are upheld without compromise. This role is dynamic, varied, and perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure all properties meet Younique Stays’ presentation, cleanliness, and quality standards
- Conduct and coordinate pre-arrival property checks
- Monitor cleaner progress and proactively manage issues
- Create, manage, and adjust cleaning rosters in line with live booking data for 25+ cleaners
- Coordinate maintenance requests, contractors, and follow-ups
- Support linen logistics, consumables ordering, and stock checks
- Communicate clearly with cleaners, contractors, and internal team members
- Assist with onboarding new properties, audits, and operational documentation
- Provide operational support to guests and step in where needed
About You
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented
- Strong prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable
- Experience in hospitality, short-term accommodation, or property operations is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a close-knit team
