Location: St Helens District Hospital, East Coast, Tasmania
Employment Type: Fixed term, casual, shift work (fully rotational)

Your Role:
- Clean and maintain allocated areas of the hospital, complying with infection control standards.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to clients, following Tasmanian Food Safety Legislation and Guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of service and a positive image of the hospital for the public.
- Work under the direction and supervision of the Cook/Hotel Services Supervisor.
You will be accountable to clients, co-workers, your manager, and the organisation, contributing to a safe, welcoming, and supportive hospital environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensuring all hospital areas are clean, hygienic, and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Supporting food services by preparing and delivering meals with care and attention to safety standards.
- Helping the team maintain a friendly and professional environment at all times.
- Following hospital procedures and infection control guidelines in all tasks.

Appointment Details:
- Casual, fixed-term, shift work (fully rotational), commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
- Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
- This selection process may also be used to fill similar vacancies for twelve months from the date of publication.
