Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time (34.5 hrs/fortnight), Shift Work (Fully Rotational)
Overview
The Multi-Skilled Domestic supports hospital services by maintaining high standards of cleaning, hygiene, and food safety. The role ensures a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen cleaning.
- Clean allocated hospital areas in line with infection control and hospital standards.
- Safely use cleaning equipment, disinfectants, and detergents.
- Follow safe lifting and manual handling techniques.
- Comply with workplace safety, training, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Ability to follow cleaning and hygiene procedures.
- Commitment to personal hygiene and infection control standards.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or healthcare is desirable but not required.
