About the Role
Iron House Tasting Room Café at White Sands Estate is looking for confident, customer-focused staff to join the team. With the busy summer season approaching, we’re seeking people who enjoy engaging with visitors and can help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.
The role involves guiding patrons through tastings, sharing product knowledge and assisting with sales, breakfast, and lunch service as well as coffee. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team in a relaxed coastal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with patrons in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct tastings and share information about our beers, wines and spirits
- Handle sales transactions and restock displays as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room
- Work during breakfast and lunch service
Skills and Attributes
- Confident and comfortable interacting with the public
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales or hospitality experience preferred, with training provided
- Reliable, professional and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Hours
- Casual position
- Shifts currently 9:30am–4:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday
