Sea Stacks is preparing to open its brand‑new luxury accommodation in Bicheno, and are building a dedicated housekeeping team to help bring this unique coastal experience to life.
Inspired by the granite, grasses and ever‑changing colours of Tasmania’s East Coast, Sea Stacks offers guests a peaceful, immersive stay where architecture and nature blend seamlessly. We are looking for people who take pride in their work and want to contribute to an environment that feels calm, refined and truly special.
About the Role
We are seeking local, professional Housekeeping Attendants who can work to an exceptional standard in a luxury environment. You will work largely unsupervised but as part of a supportive team, ensuring each accommodation space is beautifully presented and maintained.
We offer
- Up to 30 hours + per week for permanent part‑time roles

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to a premium standard
- Make beds, dust, clean bathrooms, kitchens, lounges and all interior spaces
- Vacuum, mop and sweep all areas, including under furniture
- Safely handle and transport soiled linen in line with infection control procedures
- Correctly use and store cleaning agents following SOP/SWP guidelines
- Replenish guest amenities and complimentary items
- Deliver and retrieve guest loan items (e.g., irons, ironing boards)
- Maintain security and privacy of guest rooms
- Keep housekeeping storage areas clean, tidy and well‑stocked
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Attend to guest requests and contribute to overall guest satisfaction
- Perform rotation cleaning tasks such as deep cleans and spring cleaning
What We’re Looking For
- Local residents who can work between 9am – 3pm, across a 7‑day roster
- Availability during school holidays (our busiest period)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Professional, friendly and neatly presented
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a luxury standard
We are happy to accommodate school‑hour availability, provided applicants can also work during peak holiday periods.
