10–20 hours per week Beachfront Bicheno – East Coast Tasmania
Set along the iconic Great Eastern Drive and overlooking the sparkling waters of Waub’s Bay, Beachfront Bicheno is one of the East Coast’s most welcoming accommodation destinations. With 50 generously sized hotel rooms, 3 two‑bedroom apartments, pet‑friendly options, a lively neighbouring pub, private function space, pool and BBQ areas, this is a workplace where every day feels connected to the coast.
We’re now seeking a Casual Housekeeper to join our friendly team and help maintain the high standard of comfort and cleanliness our guests love.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to someone who takes pride in presentation and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Hours: 10–20 per week, with additional shifts available during peak periods. Previous housekeeping experience will be highly regarded.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and apartments to a high standard
- Making beds, refreshing linen and restocking amenities
- Cleaning bathrooms, balconies and guest spaces
- Assisting with laundry tasks as required
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Ensuring all areas are presented safely, neatly and professionally
- Supporting the housekeeping team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, positive and hardworking team member
- Good attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures
- Someone physically capable of performing housekeeping duties
- Availability across weekdays, with rostered weekend shifts
- Previous housekeeping experience is welcomed but not required
