Part-Time / Casual Position
We are looking for one or two reliable, hardworking people to assist with cleaning and preparing our luxury holiday accommodation at George River Park, located at 203 Binalong Bay Road, St Helens.
Set on a beautiful 100-acre property, the accommodation is rented to short-stay guests through Airbnb and other booking platforms. We take pride in providing a high standard of accommodation and are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail to help maintain this.
About the Role
The property includes:
- A three-bedroom main house accommodating up to eight guests
- A separate, self-contained one-bedroom unit accommodating two guests
Duties include:
- Cleaning and preparing accommodation between guest stays
- Changing beds and laundering linen and towels using the on-site laundry
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and bedrooms
- Ensuring the accommodation is presented to a high standard for arriving guests
- Occasionally purchasing basic household supplies
Hours and Availability
- Part-time, flexible hours depending on guest bookings
- Busiest period is December through to April
- On same-day guest changeovers, cleaning must be completed between 10am and 3pm
- All cleaning equipment and supplies are provided
- Training and guidance can be provided by our existing cleaner
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Thorough, organised and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently and manage their time effectively
- Flexible with availability, particularly during peak holiday periods
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. A positive attitude and good attention to detail are most important.
