Graduate Engineer (Civil)
Council is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer (Civil) to join its Infrastructure team and support the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of essential community assets.
About the Role
- Provides engineering support across infrastructure planning, design, delivery and maintenance
- Works under the guidance of the Project Engineer across asset management, projects and development assessments
- Assists with technical analysis, documentation and delivery of compliant engineering solutions
- Supports development of professional engineering capability with increasing responsibility over time
- Contributes to a collaborative local government team environment
About the Ideal Candidate
- Recent civil engineering graduate or early-career engineer
- Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to build a career in local government
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and collaborative approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Organised, proactive and willing to learn from experienced professionals
- Interest in infrastructure, asset management and project delivery highly regarded
