The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Office & Guest Services Officer to join our growing team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to build a long-term career in tourism and hospitality.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring every stay is seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process guest bookings across multiple platforms
- Handle phone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Deliver outstanding guest service before, during, and after each stay
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, and provide accurate property information
- Resolve guest concerns with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Support the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Participate in a shared after-hours phone roster
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong guest-first mindset
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented
- Communicates confidently and professionally
- Is reliable and committed to long-term employment
- Is eager to learn and grow within the business
- Works well independently and collaboratively within a team
Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or front office roles is desirable but not essential. We welcome candidates with a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
Location & Relocation
This role is based in the Coles Bay, Swanwick, and Bicheno region of Tasmania’s East Coast.
Applicants must be permanently based in the area or willing to relocate long-term. Staff accommodation may be available for the right candidate to assist with relocation.
