Location: Bay of Fires Bush Retreat
Hours: Approx. 20–25 hours per week
Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is preparing for a busy season, and we’re looking for a warm, reliable, and detail-oriented person to join our small, friendly team. This role ideally combines Front of House hosting with Housekeeping duties, though we are open to splitting this into two separate part-time roles for the right people.
Front of House / Host Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, genuine hospitality to maintain our 5-star guest experience
- Welcome guests, assist with check-ins, and ensure guests feel relaxed and well cared for
- Confidently manage booking platforms and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Carry out simple food and beverage preparation (no chef experience required)
- Remain organised, calm, and professional during busy periods
- Share local knowledge, recommendations, and tips to enhance each guest’s stay
Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest accommodation to a consistently high standard
- Pay close attention to detail and presentation
- Work efficiently and reliably to meet changeover deadlines
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
- Support the wider team with a positive, can-do attitude
