Position Overview

Medea Park is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work within a friendly and supportive environment. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will provide assistance with day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support payroll processing and associated reporting obligations.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the Finance Manager as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Inerva, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the team.
  • Previous experience in the aged care or not-for-profit sector (desirable but not essential).
