Yumbah Aquaculture is proudly positioned as Australia’s leading aquaculture company, with operations across South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales. We sustainably farm abalone, oysters, mussels and kingfish for domestic and international markets, and supply oyster spat to the South Australian oyster industry.

Your Role:
Based at our oyster farming operations in St Helens on Tasmania’s East Coast, this permanent position involves supporting day-to-day marine farming operations. You will work closely with the team to ensure the safe and efficient movement of stock, equipment and crew between sites.
Key responsibilities include:
• Safe and reliable operation of vessels
• Supporting on-water oyster farming operations
• Assisting with the movement of stock, equipment and crew
• Working as a hands-on and reliable member of the team
About You:
• Confident working in a marine environment
• Strong focus on safety and reliability
• Physically fit and capable of working in varied marine conditions
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience:
• Coxswain Grade 2 NC or higher
• Background in marine, aquaculture or fisheries work
• Experience in a similar aquaculture environment preferred
• Full Australian work rights
