Job Description
Mount Elephant Cafe & Pancakes at Elephant Pass is seeking an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Hospitality All-Rounder to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on role in a busy cafe environment, suited to someone who is confident with customers, experienced in making coffee, and comfortable helping across a range of hospitality duties.
About the Role
Working as part of our team, you will help deliver friendly and efficient service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the cafe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing coffee and other beverages to a consistent standard.
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments.
- Serving food and drinks.
- Clearing and resetting tables.
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment.
- Helping with general cafe duties and supporting the team wherever needed during busy periods.
Regular availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is essential.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in hospitality.
- Confident and capable in making coffee.
- Friendly, professional and comfortable engaging with customers.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Positive, adaptable and willing to help across different areas of the cafe.
- Available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Previous cafe or restaurant experience is required, and barista experience is essential for this role.
