Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, and maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. The successful candidate will combine culinary expertise with strong leadership skills to inspire and manage a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage all kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing, motivated team.
- Develop, plan, and execute seasonal menus that reflect Panorama’s vision and culinary standards.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control for all dishes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen budgets, including ordering, inventory, and cost control.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Introduce innovative culinary techniques and maintain consistency across all dishes.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-volume, fine-dining or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of modern culinary techniques and trends.
- Excellent organizational, budgeting, and planning skills.
- Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Desirable
- Culinary qualifications from a recognised institution.
- Experience in menu design and cost control.
- Passion for mentoring and developing kitchen staff.
