Job Description

We have opened an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for Outdoor Workforce roles to help us identify suitable candidates for potential vacancies over the next six months. This EOI will allow us to build a pool of interested applicants who may be contacted should a targeted, merit-based recruitment process be required.

Roles Included:
The EOI covers three possible outdoor positions:
• Municipal Worker – general town, parks, stormwater and road maintenance, plant/equipment operation, vegetation management, and minor construction.
• Waste Transfer Station Attendant – customer service and operational support across all waste transfer station locations.
• Truck Driver / Plant Operator – truck operation, plant use, litter and kerbside support, and assistance with general municipal works and waste collection.

What We’re Looking For:
Applicants who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and can demonstrate:
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and safe work practices
• Strong teamwork and communication
• Flexibility in dynamic outdoor environments
• Experience with tools/equipment and any relevant licences (MR/HR, plant tickets, etc.)
