St Marys Community Health Centre, Fingal Valley, Tasmania

St Marys Community Health Centre is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team. Located in Tasmania’s North-East, our centre provides emergency, inpatient, community, and outpatient services to the local community. This role is ideal for an Enrolled Nurse who is committed to patient-centred care and enjoys working in a close-knit, rural healthcare setting.

The Role:

  • Provide patient-centred nursing care within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
  • Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife
  • Contribute to positive health outcomes for patients and the community

About the Facility:

  • Emergency room and 8 inpatient beds
  • Services include sub-acute, palliative, community, and outpatient care
  • Programs: community nursing, home help, adult day centre, physiotherapy, social work, child health
  • Specialist services: Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre
  • Co-located GP practice (Ochre Health)

Position Details:

  • Fixed term, part-time (64 hrs/fortnight)
  • Shift work (fully rotational roster)
  • Contract until 12 April 2026
  • May be used to fill similar vacancies for 12 months

Salary & Allowances:

  • $78,179 – $79,980 p.a. (pro rata, Nurses & Midwives TAS State Service Agreement 2023)
  • 12% employer superannuation contribution
  • Post Graduate Allowance (up to 7.5%, depending on qualifications)
  • Remote & Rural Professional Development Allowance (4%)
