A community-focused organisation in St Helens is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join their team on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into part-time or full-time employment.
The successful applicant will support individuals with psychosocial disabilities, helping to build their capacity, confidence, and independence across a variety of settings. This dynamic role includes:
- Assisting with everyday household tasks and shopping
- Supporting community engagement and social activities
- Navigating life tasks and personal routines
- Encouraging independence and skill development
- Assisting clients in pursuing employment or further education

Essential Criteria:
- Physically fit and comfortable with an active, hands-on role
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
