Location: Break O’Day, Tasmania
Hours: Casual – approximately 4 hours per week (Saturdays)
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide support to individuals in the Break O’Day region. This is a casual role with flexible hours, primarily on Saturdays. The successful candidate will help clients with day-to-day activities, promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to individuals with disability in line with their care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, social participation, and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other support staff to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- Experience in disability support or a related field is highly desired.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Must be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently.
- Police check clearance required.
