East Coast Natureworld is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Devils in the Dark Tour Guide to join its team and deliver an informative, enjoyable and memorable after-hours wildlife experience focused on the iconic Tasmanian Devil.
About the Role:
The Devils in the Dark Tour Guide is responsible for delivering an engaging and informative after-hours wildlife experience. The role focuses on connecting guests with Tasmanian wildlife through storytelling, guest interaction and wildlife interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete pre-tour setup and preparation
- Welcome and engage with guests throughout the experience
- Deliver engaging and informative tour commentary
- Share knowledge and stories about Tasmanian Devils and local wildlife
- Provide quality wildlife interpretation
- Create an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests
- Ensure tours are delivered in a professional and engaging manner
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be:
- Passionate about wildlife and conservation
- Confident and comfortable engaging with guests
- An enthusiastic storyteller and communicator
- Friendly, reliable and professional
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Knowledgeable or enthusiastic about Tasmanian wildlife, particularly Tasmanian Devils
