Pyengana Dairy is seeking an experienced Cook / Chef to join their team in Pyengana, Tasmania.
They are looking for someone who enjoys working with fresh, quality ingredients, takes pride in their work and can contribute positively to a friendly, close-knit team.
The role will include:
• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• Food preparation and kitchen organisation
• Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
• Managing stock and storage
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Working with the broader team to support smooth day-to-day operations
• Contributing ideas for menu items and seasonal offerings where appropriate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cook or chef, strong organisation skills, a good understanding of food safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The position can be tailored to suit the right person, with full-time, part-time or casual employment options available. Hours and days are negotiable.
