About the Role:
As a Teacher, you will:
- Implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students
- Assess and monitor individual student progress
- Support the Principal in educational leadership, management, and administration across a sector of the school or college
Period of Appointment:
- 2 February 2026 – 21 December 2026
- This selection process may also be used for up to 12 months from the date of publication to fill subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies (in line with Employment Direction 1).
Hours:
- 70 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements:
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment status)
- Registered Teacher with full registration under the Teachers Registration Act 2000
- Relevant teaching qualifications as determined by the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
Desirable Requirements:
- Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
