About St Marys Community Health Centre
St Marys Community Health Centre is a small, integrated rural health facility providing emergency care, sub-acute and palliative services, and a range of community and outpatient programs.
Services include:
- Emergency department and inpatient care
- Community nursing and home support services
- Physiotherapy, social work, and child health services
- Adult day centre programs
- Visiting allied health services
- On-site Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre
- Co-located GP services in partnership with Ochre Health
The team works collaboratively to deliver patient-centred care focused on achieving positive outcomes for consumers, staff, and the wider community.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable administrative professional to support the delivery of services at St Marys Community Health Centre.
You will provide high-level administrative and clerical support across a range of functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with established procedures and policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and clerical support across multiple service areas
- Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgement in all tasks
- Coordinating rostering, payroll support, data entry, and reporting
- Using advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills to manage and present data
- Managing competing priorities in a busy healthcare environment
About You
You will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
