Job Description
Coastal Solar Tas was established in 2009 and has grown to be a reputable electrical company servicing North East Tassie. We cover from Coles Bay, Swanwick & surrounds up to the MTB Mecca Derby, which suitably fits our ethos of working to live and not living to work.
The position is a FT 38 – 40 hour week from Monday – Thursday…. so if you like a long weekend – then this is the job for you!
Coastal Solar Tas is ethically driven and has a fair percentage of Grid Connect & Off Grid installations that have repeatedly taken us to some pretty incredible destinations such as Picnic Island, King and Flinders Islands. If you’re interested in Professional Development then Coastal Solar will support your journey to further your trade skills. Domestic electrical work will be a part of your weekly work load and if you get bored with that, then our awesome Coastal Crew will keep you on your toes with a bit of banter.
Qualifications & experience
- A Grade Tasmanian electrical licence
- Current Tasmanian Drivers licence
- PV grid connect and off grid experience
- Working at Heights and/or EWP
- Surfing and Mountain biking desirable – ( knee boarders possibly granted )
Tasks & responsibilities
- At Coastal Solar Tas you will be engaging in all aspects of the renewable energy industry, including domestic and commercial work in the all of the following : grid connect , off grid EV stations, Hybrid Battery grid connect system
- New builds , renovations, switchboard upgrades , air conditioning , TV and telecommunications .
- Job management and safety are key responsibilities
- Being fit and healthy, working remotely and unsupervised are key factors problem solving and building healthy relationships with clients. Have an easy going nature and a positive outlook on life.
