As part of the Workforce Coordination Project, TASCOSS are currently offering funded places in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116). This qualification will develop the skills and knowledge needed to understand the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, design learning to meet the needs of learners and enterprises, deliver training and plan and conduct assessments.

This course is looking for people who:

• Hold a relevant qualification in an industry sector, for example:
  • Aged Care: Certificate III Individual Support (both Ageing and Home & Community specialisations), Certificate IV Leisure & Health, Cert IV Ageing Support, Diploma of Nursing or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
  • Disability: Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability.
  • Education and Care: Diploma of Early Childhood or Early Years Degree approved by ACECQA.
  • Social Services: Certificate IV in Community Services, Certificate IV in Mental Health, Diploma of Community Services, Certificate IV in Youth York or Diploma of Alcohol and other Drugs
• Are currently working using this qualification.
• Have a reasonable level of language, literacy and numeracy skills and intermediate level of technology skills. — See Level 3-4 (Australian Core Skills Framework).
• Have access to a laptop (with recommended Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word and Google), internet, webcam and a headset with a microphone.
