Job Description: Cameron Oyster Farm is seeking a motivated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team on a casual basis. As a Farm Hand at Cameron Oyster Farm, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the farm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is passionate about sustainable aquaculture. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the cultivation and harvesting of oysters.
- Monitor and maintain oyster beds.
- Handle and sort oysters for processing.
- Clean and maintain farm equipment.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of farm infrastructure.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience in aquaculture or farming required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
